Kochi, Aug 8 (UNI) Considering the huge potential of the Kerala market, Honda Motorcycle&Scooter India Private Limited (HMSI) today rolled out its new bike '' CBF Stunner'' here, ahead of the national launch tomorrow.
Targeting the youth, the new motorbike with its sharp and sporty look would revolutionize the two-wheeler industry in the country, hoped HMSI Advisor on Sales&Marketing M Yamane.
Aiming to touch a sales target of 80,000 units this fiscal for the new product, the motorcycle would be available in three variants -- self-disc alloy, self-drum alloy and kick drum alloy and comes in four colours -- sports red, pearl sports yellow, space silver metallic and black.
The three variants -- self-disc alloy, self-drum alloy and kick drum alloy are priced at Rs 53,628, Rs 51,793 and Rs 49,040 respectively.
Mr Yamana said after the success of HMSI's two bikes, 'Unicorn' and 'Shine', the new bike is all set to charm the Indian youth with its high peformance, sporty and stylish look.
The advanced 11 bhp engine with five-speed transmission gives an excellent power at all speed ranges and provides superior initial acceleration and overtaking pick up, he claimed.
''Kerala had a huge potential to expand and the company was looking forward to introduce and promote its range of porducts further in the city,'' Mr Yamana noted.
The new motorcycle was a result of the company's committment to provide unique experience to its customers through innovative products and quality, he added.
Mr Yaman said the company was expecting a sales of 10 lakh units for all products this fiscal against 9.7 lakh units last year.
