Heaviest, smallest, glowing bibles on show in Book Fair
Chennai, Aug 8 (UNI) A 134-year-old heaviest Bible, a smallest Bible, weighing just ten gm and a Glowing Bible, would be among thousands of Christian books, to be displayed in the Chennai International Book Fair to be held here from August nine to 17.
The largest and longest Bible, weighing 97 kgs and 200 metres long, 134-year-old heaviest Bible, weighing seven kg, water proof Bible, Truglo Bible, which glows in the dark would be the special attractions in the fair, organised by STL OM Books India and International Bible Society.
Tamil hand-written Bible, written by people from different walks of life, including Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram and Local Administration Minister M K Stalin would be the star attraction in the fair this year, Jose Thomas, Regional Manager, OM Books India, said in a release here.
Also available for sale would be thousands of high quality Christian books and novels written by eminent authors like Rick Warren and Tim Layaye, Mr Thomas said.
A wide range of music, ranging from contemporary, pop, rock, praise and worship, instrumental and children collection would be available at best prices.
