BCCI delays third, fourth Test against Australia by a day each

New Delhi, Aug 8 (UNI) The BCCI today announced that the third and the fourth Test of the upcoming Border-Gavaskar series between India and Australia have been pushed back by a day.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) honorary secretary Niranjan Shah said the third Test will begin from October 29, while the fourth Test will commence on November 6.

The third Test was originally scheduled to be played on October 28, which is when Diwali will be celebrated all over the country.

The fourth Test at Nagpur was to be played on November 5.

The revised schedule of the Test series: First Test - Bangalore - October 9-13 Second Test - Mohali - October 17-21 Third Test - Delhi - Oct 29- Nov 2 Fourth Test - Nagpur - Nov 6-10 UNI RAR PY DS1402
