3rd, Test of Border-Gavaskar trophy to start on Oct 29

Rajkot, Aug 8 (UNI) Owing to Diwali festival, the third and fourth Tests of the upcoming series between India and Australia have been pushed back by a day.

In a release issued here today, the BCCI Secretary Niranjan Shah said the third Test was originally scheduled to begin at Delhi on October 28, 2008, the day of the festisval of light, but will now commence on the next day. Consequently, the 4th Test in Nagpur will begin on November 6 instead of November 5, the release said.

The revised schedule of the Test series is as follows: 1st Test - Bangalore - Oct 9-13, 2008, 2nd Test - Mohali - Oct 17-21, 3rd Test - Delhi - Oct 29-Nov 2, and 4th Test - Nagpur - Nov 6-10, 2008, the release added.
