3 lorries with pilfered maize seized, 16 held
Kakinada, Aug 8 (UNI) Port police arrested a 16-member gang and seized three lorries, illegally transporting 970 bags of maize pilfered from the port godowns in the city.
Port police station Sub-Inspector YRK Srinivas told UNI here today that vehicles along with maize worth over Rs 4 lakhs were seized yesterday.
Hunt was on for another two persons, he added.
