Reference rate fixed at Rs 41.89 per Dollar

Mumbai, Aug 7 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today fixed the reference rate for US dollar at Rs 41.89 per unit, easing it by 11 paise, against yesterday's rate of Rs 42.00 per dollar.

The reference rate for Euro was quoted 28 paise less at Rs 64.81 per unit, against yesterday's rate of Rs 65.09.

The exchange rates for Pound and Japanese Yen against the Rupee were quoted at Rs 81.7337 (82.1436) per Pound and Rs 38.27 (38.74) per 100 units respectively, data received from RBI said.
