Haryana to raise number of HPSC members
Chandigarh, Aug 7 (UNI) The Haryana government has decided to increase the number of members of the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) from the existing eight to twelve in addition to its Chairman to ''ensure smooth working of the Commission.'' A decision to this effect was taken in a meeting of the State Cabinet which met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.
The increase in the number of members had been made by suitably amending the regulation No. 3 of the Haryana Public Service Commission (Conditions of Service) Regulations, 1972, an official spokesman said.
