Parag Sanghvi to invest Rs 100 cr in Lotus Film company
Mumbai, Aug 6 (UNI) Former K Sera Sera managing director Parag Sanghvi will invest Rs 100 crore in his newly floated film production company, Lotus Film Company.
The company, floated earlier this year with an initial investment of Rs 70 crore, will be launched formally within three months after a few more scripts are finalised, said Parag Sanghvi in a release.
The company currently has two films on floors -- a Sanjay Dutt starrer 'Chatur Singh Two Star' (directed by Ajay Chandok) and 'Tara Sitara', that will feature newcomers.
The company has also planned to add two more big budget films on floors before the year-end.
''In the first year of our operations, we planned to release four movies, followed by eight movies in the second year, and 12 movies in the third year,'' added Mr Sanghvi in the release.
