Haryana introduces Semi-Low Floor buses
Chandigarh, Aug 6 (UNI) Semi-Low Floor buses are being introduced by the Haryana Roadways in the major cities of the state to provide better transport facilities to the people.
An official spokesman today said the first such bus would be flagged off by Transport Minister Mange Ram Gupta from Gymkhana Club, Gurgaon tomorrow.
This would be a step forward towards providing efficient Urban Transport System in all major cities of the state, particularly in the NCR during the 11th Five Year Plan.
Eighty such buses would be procured during the current financial year, he added.
Giving details, he said Semi-Low Floor bus service would be introduced on intra city routes in all big cities of the state, particularly the NCR and all district headquarters. In the first phase, ten such buses would be introduced on different routes in Gurgaon.

conforming
to
Euro-III
norms.
These
are
also
equipped
with
power
steering
and
rear
air-suspension
for
safety
and
comfortable
ride."
