Shafiya murder case accused for Narco test
Madikeri, Aug 5 (UNI) Kasargod Police have decided to subject Abdulla, one of the accused in the Shafiya murder case, to Norco analysis to find out more details.
Abdulla is facing charges of abetting with the main accused Hamsa in brutally murdering Shafiaya, a 14-year-old maid in latter's house at Goa. Her body was cut into three pieces even while she was breathing to hide the fact that she was made pregnant by Hamsa.
Police allegedly had twisted the facts and were trying to make her parents scapegoats by accepting bribe. However, the crime branch police threw more light on the case and arrested Hamsa, Abdulla, Hamsas wife Maimuna and Moidu Haji from Kodagu. A Sub Inspector accepting bribe to turn the case, was absconding from Kasargod, according to Crime Branch Superintendent of Police, Philip.
Abdulla would be subjected to Narco analysis, as he was changing the version of his statements each time. The Kasargod Court yesterday rejected the bail plea by Abdulla and continued his custody.
Meanwhile, crime branch police seized the JCB, used to dig a pit to bury Shafiya at Goa. The machine was kept under the custody of Goa Police.
