London, Aug 5 : You don't need to go to jam-packed clubs or parties to grab a drink, for the latest offering in the UK is a Pub Crawler - a mobile bar propelled by the pedal power of its customers
What's more, it's the ultimate way to combine fresh air and exercise with a relaxing drink.
Pedalling also powers lights, a sound system, a fridge and a laptop on the 17,000 pounds machine.
Fit cyclists could burn off 180 calories, about a pint of beer, in 20 minutes.
It can accommodate 12 people - 10 customers who sit on bar stools with pedals so they can drink as they travel from venue to venue and, for safety's sake, a professional two-man crew who steer.
The machine, designed by 36-year-old Luke Robertson, runs at a speed of 7.5mph.
"It's a wacky way to go out. We've even had a casino on board," the sun quoted Robertson, as saying.
Mandy Tagney with husband Bill and pals rode the bicycle bar around Battersea, South London.
"People's jaws dropped as we passed. It would be really good for a stag or hen party," Mandy said.
