Briefing newspersons after a party state executive meeting which concluded at Manjeri yesterday, Mr Kunhalikutty said top national and state-level leaders would participate in the convention to be held in the neighbouring district of Kozhikode.
Besides, the meet also decided to conduct 'padayatras' from October 24 to 31 throughout the state, except here, to 'expose the anti-people' policies adopted by the LDF Government in the state.
In Malappuram, the programme would be held from October 17 to 24, he said.
The meet also decided to hold ''samara sangamam'' (agitational congregation) at district headquarters demanding withdrawal of the controversial Standard VII Social Science Textbook which allegedly promoted Communist doctrine, he said.
Apart from Muslims, other religious leaders and followers would also participate, he added.
