BJYM to hold ''Yuva Kranti Rally'' in Delhi
Hyderabad, Aug 5 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) will hold a ''Yuva Kranti'' rally in New Delhi on August nine to commemorate the anniversary of the historic ''August Kranti'' Movement against British Rule and expose the ''ill-deeds'' of the Congress-led United Progresssive Alliance Government.
BJYM National Secretary K Venkateswarlu, in a statement here, alleged the Manmohan Singh Government had failed on various fronts, including handling of economic affairs, ''Jehadi terrorism''and Amarnath Land issue.
While the UPA Government was showing ''extreme haste'' in signing the Indo-US Nuclear Deal, it was sitting over the pardon petition by Afzal Guru who was convicted by the Supreme Court in Parliament case, he contended.
The India ''growth story'' was result of the contributions of youth in the country, he pointed out, claiming the economist trio of Manmohan Singh, P Chidambaram and Montek Singh Ahluwalia had ''driven the country to socio-economic disaster.'' The much publicised National Rural Employment Guarantee Act had turned out to be ''total farce''. Four crore educated unemployed youth living in urban areas have been denied benefits of the law, he claimed.
The BJYM ''is convinced the UPA Government should not stay in office any longer in the interest of the nation,'' he said adding that their workers from various blocks would take part in the rally.
