AIADMK demands Pondy CM's resignation
Puducherry, Aug 5 (UNI) AIADMK Puducherry unit Secretary A Anbazhagan, MLA today demanded the resignation of Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy.
Addressing a press conference here, he alleged that the Chief Minister was not able to convene the cabinet meeting due to the differences between him and his cabinet colleagues.
He said the cabinet meeting, which was scheduled to be held earlier, was postponed to tomorrow with the ministers announcing to boycott it.
''It is doubtful whether the ministers will take part in the meeting tomorrow,'' he added.
He also alleged that the tussle between the cabinet ministers and Chief Minister had severely affected the implementation of various welfare schemes.
He said the party would conduct a demonstration infront of the Head Post office here tomorrow to protest the failure of the government to obtain 50 percent seats in private medical colleges as government quota.
