Dubai, Aug 4 (UNI) Riding on a superb double century in the second Test at Galle, India opener Virender Sehwag climbed 10 rungs to the 11th spot, while off-spinner Harbhajan Singh's 10-wicket haul took him to the 11th spot as well in the latest ICC Rankings for Test players.
Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar at 17th and Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman at joint 18th are the other Indian batsmen who managed to sneak in to the top 20 chart in the ICC Test batsmen rankings.
While Harbhajan's match winning effort of 10 for 153 helped him to gain seven places, captain Anil Kumble still remains the top ranked Indian bowler at the the ninth position.
Speedster Zaheer Khan also made it to the top 20 bowler's list and was placed at the 18th spot.
Further down the ladder are the absent trio of Irfan Pathan (26th), Sreesanth (33rd) and RP Singh (42nd) but Ishant Sharma has nudged into the top 50, up six places to 48th.
Meanwhile, West Indies batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul still leads the batting list and the bowlers' list is headed by Sri Lankan off-spinner Muttiah Murlitharan.
