Mysore, Aug 4 (UNI) The inflows into the various Cauvery basin reservoirs had gradually came down in the wake of reduced rains in in the catchments, however, the levels continued to inch up in the reservoirs.
The level at Krishnaraja Sagar across the Cauvery near here stood at 116.32 ft, just short of eight feet below the maximum level. The inflow was at 27,793 cusecs while the outflow was 15,022 cusecs.
Due to a let off of rain in Waynand of Kerala, the inflow into the Kabini reservoir in the district was reduced to 9303 cusecs from 20,000 cusecs yesterday. The outlow was 7314 cusecs. The level was at 2282.28 ft against the full level of 2284 ft.
In Harangi reservoir, which had already touched its maximum level the level stood at 2857.98 ft against the full capacity of 2859 ft.
While Infow was 3739 cusecs, outflow was at 4928 cusecs.
