Ashram death case: Rituraj is innocent, say family members
Narsinghpur, MP, Aug 4 (UNI) Family members of Rituraj Singh Dikshit, who was arrested in connection with the murder of two children in Sant Asaram Gurukul Ashram in Chhindwara, have claimed that their child was innocent.
Chhindwara's Loharbatri village-resident Pradeep Singh told reporters here that his son's only fault was that he found dead children first and informed ashram authorities. He was being implicated in order to save ashram authorities and calm public anger.
Pradeep and Rituraj's uncle Dilip Singh demanded a high-level inquiry into the matter.
Meanwhile, SP MLAs Dr Sunilam and Kishor Samirte and GGP's Manmohan Shah submitted a memorandum to Governor Balram Jakhar stating that Rituraj (14), a class IX student, was being falsely implicated. They demanded a CBI inquiry into the matter and immediate closing of the Gurukul.
The MLAs demanded that action be taken against such officials that granted permission for allowing students below four years of age to stay in hostel.
