AP CM asks officials to supply vegetables at reasonable price

Hyderabad, Aug 4 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today asked the officials of Horticulture and Civil Supplies Departments to ensure that vegetables were available at affordable prices to people throughout the year.

Dr Reddy said steps should be taken to bring down the prices of onions and tomatoes while reviewing the prices of vegetables with the officials concerned here.

The Chief Minister said the Government would also ensure remunerative prices to the farmers, an official release said.
