Pak-Afghan agree on keeping mutual contacts
Colombo, Aug 3: Pakistan Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani and Afghan President Hamid Karzai in a meeting held on the sidelines of the SAARC summit here, agreed on keeping continued contacts between the two countries.
Following the meeting, Gilani said that his talks with the Afghan President were fruitful and constructive and both the countries agreed on keeping the contacts continued. Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the meeting lasted over one hour in a cordial atmosphere. He further said that the barrage of blaming each other is likely to halt after this meeting.
Sources said that Pakistan had asked for evidences relating to the blame of its involvement in Kabul blast, but the Afghan Government could not present any such evidence.
