Katie Price gets invitation to Gatcombe
London, Aug 3 : Former glamour model, Katie Price a.k.a Jordan has been asked to attend Gatcombe horse trials - the festival of British Eventing - at Princess Anne's country estate.
The event will be held on August 3.
Brokerage firm BGC, sponsor of Zara Phillips, invited Katie, 30, with the co-operation of Princess Anne's office, at the prestigious festival in Gloucestershire.
While at the fest, the stunner might also have a chance to present a trophy, a move that would give her an opportunity to meet the members of the Royal Family.
Katie has been invited to Gatcombe with her husband Peter Andre and their children - Harvey, 6, Junior, 3, and one-year-old Princess Tiaamii.
"We invited Katie because of her enthusiasm and love of horses and the strides she is making in equestrianism. Just because she has been a successful glamour model doesn't mean she can't break into three-day eventing. We applaud her efforts," The Daily Express quoted James Blackshaw of BGC, as saying.
Katie has also received an invitation to perform a dressage routine in a display by Princes William and Harry's regiment, the Household Cavalry in October as a curtain raiser.
