J'khand govt to fecilitate winner of ''Chak De Bachhe''

Ranchi, Aug 3 (UNI) The Jharkhand government has decided to felicitate Deepak Tirkey, who won in the grand finale of reality show ''Chak de Bachhe'' aired last night.

Soon after the results were announced Chief Minister Madhu Koda said that Tirkey would be felicitated whenever he returns here.

State's youth and sports minister Bandhu Tirkey also announced a surprise gift for Tirkey.

Earlier, the government had given a Toyota car to India ODI captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni for his performance in T-20 series.

Trikey, a 13-year boy hails from Dibdih in Ranchi.

The reality show was telecast last night on a TV channel where Dhoni was also present to cheer the local lad.

State's youth and sports department had arranged live screening of the show in the Town Hall while several bars and hotels also arranged the same here.

Rallies were also taken out by several organisations and self help groups asking people to vote for Deepak.
