Chennai, Aug 3 (UNI) India got off to a fine start in the team events defeating Venezuala 3-0 in the 15th World Junior Men's Squash Championship at Zurich early today.
India rested its Number one player Vikram Malhotra for the match, but still the other three rose to the occasion.
India, who has been seeded fifth along with the US, the Metherlands, and Venezuela in Pool E, in all conceded just four points in all the three singles to win in an emphatic fashion.
India meet the Netherlands and the US tomorrow.
