Kollur, Karnataka, Aug 3 (UNI) Chief Minister B S Yaddyurappa today announced that the government would appoint the chairman for the newly proposed Coastal Development Authority (CDA) for the overall development the three coastal districts of Daxina Kannada, Udupi and Uttar Kannada which were neglected by previous governments.
Addressing press persons after performing a Yaga at famous Mookambika temple here he said that the government would make all arrangements for the release of the required fund for the development of the authority.
The chief minister said that the government with a view to provide infrastructure facilities in all the districts in the state, it had also planned to create air strips in all district head quarters in the next two year period including the one at Ottinene near Kundapura in the district to facilitate to those industries come forward to invest.
To arrest the migration of rural youths from rural areas to the urban areas to make villages as "old aged homes", he had made his sincere attempt to provide all required infrastructure facilities on par with urban facilities through his budget.
He said the government which given special thrust on industrialisation was committed to provide hassle-free atmosphere to those willing investors in the state.
The government was also envisaged to provide proper training to 10 lakh unemployed educated youths in the next five years and provide employment, he said.
