RJD demands to lodge case against BJP leaders in CD episode

Patna, Aug 2(UNI) Sharing opinion with Bhartiya Janshakti Party leader Uma Bharti over the CD released by her showing some of the BJP leaders with cash during 'trust vote' in Parliament, the RJD today demanded criminal case against the BJP leaders in this connection.

RJD's state unit president Abdul Bari Siddiqui and chief general secretary Ramkripal Yadav said here that the behaviour of BJP leader L K Advani had indicated that he was the pioneer of the cash episode.

Instead of informing the Speaker, he encouraged the BJP MPs to stage the incident in Lok Sabha, they alleged.

Mr Siddiqui further stated that one of the MP- Phagan Singh Kulaste in the CD had been heard saying that the BJP leaders Mr Advani, Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitley, Sushma Swaraj and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivaraj Singh Chauhan were fully aware of the incident which lowered the dignity of Parliament.

The RJD leaders demanded initiation of privilege motion against Mr Advani for this ''unfortunate'' incident.

They also demanded immediate arrest of the leaders guilty in cash episode.
