Irregularities committed in Rlys during Nitish regime: RJD
Patna, Aug 2 (UNI) The RJD today alleged that large scale irregularities were committed in the Railways when Nitish Kumar was the Railway Minister during the Vajpayee regime at the Centre.
RJD national general secretary and spokesperson Shyam Rajak as well as its state general secretary Nihora Prasad Yadav claimed that the party was in possession of evidences, in this regard. It would be exposed at an appropriate time, they added.
They also said JD(U) national spokesperson Shivanand Tiwari and the party state president Lalan Singh were levelling ''baseless'' charges against RJD supremo and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad.
People were aware with the qualities and credibility of Mr Tiwari,they said alleging he was functioning as fund manager of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and owned several flats and boardings.
Apart from this, using influence in the corridors of power, Mr Tiwari was also managing contracts for his son, they alleged.
