Hamilton says no one can stop his bid for F1 world championship glory

By Staff

London, Aug.2 : Formula One ace Lewis Hamilton has again challenged his rivals to prevent his bid for world championship glory.

The McLaren-Mercedes ace leads the Formula One standings by four points after two wins in the last two races at Silverstone and Hockenheim and goes into Sunday's Hungarian Grand Prix with the objective of become the first man to notch three wins on the spin since Michael Schumacher achieved the feat in 2006.

Hamilton said: "I feel confident about maintaining the performance we have. I look back and see that I have six podiums in ten races. I have had three bad races and I should be further in front," The Sun quoted Hamilton, as saying.

"We have seen bits of the real Lewis Hamilton - the 100 per cent Lewis - and when I am 100 per cent no one can touch us," he added.

"Going into the final phase of the season, I'm thinking more about consistency. I know I can win races, I know I am quick at every race," he added.
