Groundnutseed, its oil steady while RBD palm oil falls

Mumbai, Aug 2 (UNI) Prices of groundnutseed and its oil remained unchanged on moderate demand while RBD palm oil fell today on poor offtake, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In the oil segment (per ten kgs), sunflower exp ref., RBD palm oil and copra white slipped by Rs 5 per ten kg each on lack of fresh demand from stockists.

However, castor comm improved by Rs 3 per ten kg on improved demand by stockists.

Among seeds (per quintal), groundnut remained steady while javas 60/70, javas 70/80 and javas 80/90 increased by Rs 25 per quintal each on lesser stock supply by stockists.

Nigerseed slashed by Rs 25 per quintal on persistent offloading by stock holders.
