Brown sugar worth Rs 3 cr seized, 2 arrested

Lucknow, Aug 2 (UNI) Police today claimed to have arrested two members of gang involved in smuggling narcotic substances and also siezed brown sugar worth Rs 3 cr form them in Mandiyav district of Lucknow.

Police sources informed here that police arrested Natha Baig and Siraj Baig from mandiyav district and recovered one-and-half kg of brown sugar from their possession.

They said the father-son duo had brought the substance here for sale.

A case has been registered and the duo have been sentin jail.
