Alliance not good for Congress: Malviya
Allahabad, Aug 2 (UNI) Focusing on the upcoming lok sabha elections, AICC member and former union minister Satya Praksah Malviya said in order to regain it's ground in Uttar Pradesh, the Congress should fight the election without any alliance.
Talking to mediapersons in a press conference here today, Mr Malviya said alliances are responsible for the present condition of the party.
General public identifies a party through it's symbol and the seat where the Congress does not contest, alliances cannot make an atmosphere to even discuss the policies of the party and reach out to public, he said.
He further added that the Congress should learn a lesson from the Bharatiya Janta Party and see how it made it's mark in the state since 1984, when it could only grab two seats in the LS polls.
Condemning the recent terrorists attacks in various states, he said people should be alert and aware of their surroundings.
