Mumbai, Aug 01 (UNI) TVS Motor Company has posted a 13 per cent growth with two wheelers sales totalling 118,545 units in July 2008, against 105,366 units in the corresponding period of the previous year.
The motorcycle segment posted 22 per cent growth with sales of 54,042 units compared to 44,392 units recorded in July 2007 with contributions from all its models. The scooter segment recorded marginal increase with sales of 24,156 units as against 23,841 units during the same period of the previous year, a release said here today.
The Company's exports increased by 41 per cent with sales of 16,015 units of two wheelers in June 2008 as against 11,395 units in the corresponding period of the previous year.
TVS also rolled out its one millionth 60 cc ''TVS Scooty Pep'' from its Mysore plant during July and launched its new 160 cc fuel injected Apache RTR F1, the release added.
