Tobacco control vanguards to be appointed in MP schools
Indore, Aug 1 (UNI) Tobacco control vanguards will be appointed in schools in Madhya Pradesh in order to rein in consumption of tobacco, state Tobacco Control Cell Coordinator B M Shrivastava said today.
''These vanguards would include both teachers and students, who would be provided training. A notification has been issued by the School Education Department in this regard,'' Mr Shrivastava told UNI here.
Besides, tobacco de-addiction centres would be set up in every district.
