Giridih, Aug 1 (UNI) With the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha's claim for the post of Chief Minister of the state, the BJP today demanded to implement President's rule here.
''Under such circumstances the government should be dissolved and President's rule be implemented here,'' former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Arjun Munda told the media here.
Accusing Chief Minister Madhu Koda of failing at every front, Mr Munda said the CM failed to take a single step for the betterment of the state.
''Now it was Mr Soren lobbying for the coveted post,'' Mr Munda said adding that condition of the state would go from bad to worse if he became the CM.
Mr Munda said his party was not in the race of government formation and they would prefer to go for fresh mandate.
Earlier, refering to recent blasts, party's national vice-president and in charge of Jharkhand Karuna Shukla said that terrorism could be checked by implementing POTA.
