K'taka CM condoles death of Harikishan Singh Surjit

Bangalore, Aug 1 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa has condoled death of veteran communist leader Harikishan Singh Surjit who died in New Delhi today.

In a condolence message here, Mr Yeddyurappa, expressing his profound grief said that "by Mr Surjit's death the nation has lost a tall leader who had exhibited unquestionable commitment for the cause of communism in the country." Former Maharashtra Governor and Karnataka Chief Minister S M Krishna has also condoled death of Mr Surjit.
