Kevin Costner's closet skeletons keeps him away from politics!
Washington, Aug 1 : American actor Kevin Costner admitted that he would have loved to run for office, but fears the skeletons in his closet will not let him.
In his new movie Swing Vote, Costner plays a man who gets to decide the identity of the U.S. president.
And the 53-year-old confesses he would love to swap Hollywood for Washington D.C., if he was more clean-cut.
"I've just lived a little bit too colourful a life. I think people would use that to their advantage, and we would quickly get off the issues that were important," Contactmusic quoted him as telling Moviefone.
"And we would move to something that was just kind of sensational and fun that really doesn't matter. And that wouldn't be any fun for me," he added.
