Japanese women rape case: HC rejects bail application of accused
Allahabad, Aug 1 (UNI) The Allahabad High Court today rejected the bail application of an accused, who had allegedly raped two foreign women along with two other co-accused in Agra.
Justice A K Roopanwal rejected the bail application of Rajan Singh.
Earlier also, the accused had filed a bail application in the district court, which was rejected.
In September 2007, Rajan Singh, Raish and Deepak had raped two Japanese women--Mihokavakuo and Atsuko Kyosiya--who had come to visit world famous monument the' Taj Mahal.
An FIR was lodged against them by Mijho Hayakao, secretary of the Japanese Embassy.
