Bhopal, Aug 1: Social worker Mrs Usha Chaturvedi has been appointed chairperson of the reconstituted state Social Welfare Board.
The appointment was made with the approval of Central Social Welfare Board, an official release said on Friday, August 1, adding her tenure was for three years. Meanwhile, senior IFS officer Dr B P Gangopadhyaya has taken charge as Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Madhya Pradesh in place of Mr V R Khare, who retired. Mr Khare has been appointed Forest Consultant in Madhya Pradesh Minor Forest Produce (Marketing and Development) Cooperative Federation for six months.
The state government has bestowed additional charge of Mandi Commissioner to M P Seeds and Farms Development Corporation Managing Director Ashok Shah.
Ujjain Collector Shiv Shekhar Shukla has also been given additional charge as Ujjain divisional Commissioner. Meanwhile, consequent to court orders, 277 Deputy Rangers in the forest department have been promoted as Rangers in the pay-scale of Rs 5500-175-Rs 9000.
