Bank of Baroda bags 5 prizes under Shield Scheme
Mumbai, Aug 1 (UNI) Bank of Baroda (BoB) has bagged five prizes under a Shield Scheme introduced by Reserve Bank of India for promoting and propagating use of the official language Hindi amongst Public Sector Banks, for the year 2006-07.
The Bank has bagged First prize in 'A' linguistic Region, third prize in 'B' Region and fourth prize in 'C' Region. Bank's Hindi House Journal has also been adjudged for the fourth prize. Besides, Bank's Chief Manager Shri Subah Singh Yadav posted at Zonal Office, Jaipur was also awarded with a cash prize under Inter Bank Hindi essay writing competition, a release issued by BoB said.
The Shields and certificates were received by Mr Nandan Srivastava, General Manager (RB&OL) and Mr Umakant Swamy, Asst.
General Manager (OL&PR) of the Bank at the hands of Dr Y V Reddy, Governor, Reserve Bank of India in a grand function rencetly held at Mumbai.
