London, July 31 : Soccer ace Cristiano Ronaldo is installing two giant whirlpool baths worth a whopping 30,000 pounds in his home in the UK.
The luxury purchase, which some see as his way of luring women, indicates that the Portuguese footballer believes his career with Manchester United is still afloat.
The 23-year-old's future has been on a knife-edge all summer, with Spanish giants Real Madrid wanting to splash out around 70 million pounds to land the superstar.
However, Ronaldo will still not commit himself to Old Trafford for next season.
His purchase now has neighbours believing that it is the clearest signal yet that he fully intends to be playing for United next season.
"Even though he's not here right now, his family are at the house and were letting tradesmen in last week. Word in the village is that he's having two spa baths put in," the Daily Star quoted a source at the player's local, the De Trafford Arms, as saying.
"Why would he go to all that bother if he was going to be packing up and leaving the country shortly?" the source added.
