Washington, July 31 : 'Hannah Montana' star Miley Cyrus has pipped country stars like Sugarland to claim the top position in the U.S. album charts with her album 'Breakout'.
In the most contested Billboard battle of the year, Miley Cyrus has acquired the number one spot with her second no. 1 album claiming 371,000 first week sales, just about 50,000 more than Sugarland's 'Love On The Inside', reports Contactmusic.
Rockers like Kid Rock's 'Rock n' Roll Jesus' and Lil Wayne's 'Tha Carter III' round out the new top five on the billboard.
Meanwhile, Cyrus, who has been creating ripples with the hit album 'Breakout', has decided to take a break from the showbiz to pursue education abroad.
