HDFC raises retail lending rate by 75 bps
Mumbai, Jul 31 (UNI) Taking a cue from the rate hike by the central bank, Housing Development Finance Corporation raised its retail prime lending rates by 75 basis points with effect from August 1.
HDFC has raised its floating home loan rates to a minimum rate of 11.75 percent, the company said in a statement.
The country's leading housing financing firm had raised twice its lending rates. Earlier, it had raised the rate by 25 basis points.
