56th Opthalmology meet in Chennai from Aug 8,
Chennai, Jul 31 (UNI) About 1,300 delegates, including 20 from Sri Lanka and experts from abroad, would participate in the three-day 56th Annual Conference on Opthalmology, to be held here from August 8 to 10.
The conference, to be jointly organised by the Tamil Nadu Opthalmic Association (TNOA) and the Opthalmic Association of Southern States and Sri Lanka (OASIS), would be inaugurated by Tamil Nadu Governor Surjit Singh Barnala.
The conference would be held at the Regional Institute of Opthalmology (RIO) and the Government Opthalmology Hospital, the second oldest Eye hospital in the world, after the Moorfield Eye Hospital in the UK.
