Six, including 3 women, injured as RTV hits road divider
New Delhi, Jul 30 (UNI) Six people, including three women, were injured when a speeding RTV hit the road divider in Pandav Nagar area of east Delhi this morning.
The accident took place when the RTV driver lost control over the wheel and hit the central verge of a road near Noida Mor around 0930 hrs. The bus then hit a lamppost before coming to halt, said the police.
Of the nearly 30 passengers on board the mini-bus, six -- Amarjeet Singh (63), Reva Dhar (61), Neelam Kapoor (57), Vijay (51), Nimmi Kaul (48) and Meenakshi Sharma (50) -- were injured.
The driver of the mini-bus, which would ferry students of Green Mary Public School in Lakshmi Nagar, had picked passengers on board illegaly to make some money.
He, however, managed to flee from the spot, but the mini-bus was impounded.
