RBD palm oil declines; Groundnutseed steady

Mumbai, July 30 (UNI) Price of RBD palm oil further declined today on sustained heavy selling pressure by stockists, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In the oil segment (per ten kgs), sunflower exp ref, mowra and rice bran fell by Rs 5 per ten kg each on poor offtake.

RBD palm oil further slipped by Rs 6 to close at Rs 520 per ten kg on sustain heavy selling pressure by stockists, traders said.

Among seeds (per quintal), groundnutseed remained flat. While kardiseed and castorseed Hyderabad were down by Rs 75 and Rs 20 per quinal respectively amid lower buying support by industrial users.

However, Castorseed Bombay and castorseed Disa increased by Rs 30 and Rs 50 per quintal respectively, on speculative buying by stockists, traders added.
