KC (J) will resolve problems through talks: party chief
Kottayam, Jul 30 (UNI) The leadership meeting of the Kerala Congress (J) today decided to resolve the problems in the party through discussions.
The meeting, convened to discuss the latest developments in the party following the convening of a farmers' meet by Mr P C Thomas, MP, without obtaining the party's consent, authorised party Chairman P J Josesph to conduct the discussions.
Besides Mr Joseph, party state leaders and district presidents also participated in the meeting.
Later, talking to newspersons, Mr Joseph said the problems in the party would be resolved through discussions.
However, Mr Thomas and his supporters abstained from the meeting.
Mr Thomas had alleged that those planning to take the Kerala Congress into the UDF camp were demanding action against him for convening the farmers' meet. The meet was convened to discuss debt relief related problems.
