Japan embassy receives email of blast in Sarojini

New Delhi, Jul 30 (UNI) Security was beefed up in and around the Japan embassy in Chanakyapuri area in southwest New Delhi following an e-mail alert of a likely bomb blast in Sarojini Nagar.

A senior police officer said the mail was received by the Japan embassy this afternoon and was forwarded to the Delhi Police in the evening.

The e mail said a blast would take place in the busy south Delhi Sarojini Nagar market.

After that security was tightened all over the place and its surrounding areas, he added.
