Jammu bandh extended up to Aug 3
Jammu, Jul 30 (UNI) Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangharsh Samiti (SAYSS), a conglomerate of political and non-political parties spearheading agitation for restoration of forest land to the SASB in South Kashmir, today extended the ongoing Jammu bandh up to August 3.
After the meeting of the constituents this evening, the SAYSS decided to extend the bandh, which was earlier given for July 31.
Responding to the bandh call, given after the death of a protester on July 23, complete shut down is being observed in the entire Jammu region, including the rural places.
Several organisations, belonging to different religions, have extended support to the on going bandh of the SAYSS.
