Srinagar, Jul 30 (UNI) The body of a boy, drowned in river Jehlum on Monday, was finally fished out near old city after two days, official sources said.
They said Navy divers, who were pressed into service to recover the body yesterday, could not fish it out despite searching the river till late in the night.
However, this morning the body was seen at Habba Kadal about a km from the spot where he drowned at Amira Kadal on Monday.
The body was handed over to his parents without conducting a postmortem as desired by them, sources said.
