Three people detained in serial blast case
Mumbai, Jul 29 (UNI) Three suspected terrorists, hailing from Kashmir, were detained late last night by crime branch of the city police for questioning in connection with the Ahmedabad serial bomb blasts from a hostel at Bhendi Bazar in South Mumbai.
Police sources said here this morning three people, hailing from Kashmir, were detained by crime branch sleuths at around 2300 hrs from Iqbal Hostel in the densely populated area of Bhendi Bazar for questioning.
They were believed to be staying in the hostel for last couple of months, the sources said adding it is not yet established that they had played any role in the recent bomb blasts at Bangalore and Ahmedabad.
Interrogation is still on, they added.
