Jabalpur, July 29 (UNI) Health services were badly affected with all 1,250 junior doctors of five medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh continuing their indefinite strike on the second consecutive day today.

Junior Doctors Association (JUDA) President Jeevan Meena today said the government had agreed to increase stipend of junior doctors but it should also reduce college fee so that poor person can become doctor.

He said the government had assured to reduce annual fee of Rs 50,000 for MBBS course but it had not been implemented. He pointed out that college fee was quite less in other states such as Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Chhattisgarh.

Junior doctors staged demonstrations at Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur and Rewa in view of their demand.
