'Carry On Camping' named 'Best Carry On Film Ever'

London, July 29 : 'Carry On Camping' has been voted the 'Best Carry On Film Of All Time' in a new poll to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the all-British series.

The 1969 classic, most famous for Barbara Windsor's bra flying off during a keepfit session, gained more than 25 per cent of the vote, reports the Mirror.

Online pollsters www.onepoll.com asked 3,250 film fans for their opinions about the 30 Carry On movies.

Thirty films were made from 1958 to 1992, starting with 'Carry On Sergeant' and ending with flop 'Columbus'.

'Carry On Doctor' came second in the vote with 'Carry On Up The Khyber' in third place.

'Carry On Nurse' came fourth while 'Carry On Matron' stood fifth.

Meanwhile, Sid James was named the nation's 'Favourite Carry On Star', with almost a third of the vote.

Kenneth Williams bagged the second spot while Barbara Windsor came in at third place.

Hattie Jacques landed the fourth spot while Charles Hawtrey stood fifth.
